As a young girl Sophia was always interested in all aspects of beauty, in which Sophia would create bold accessories using small trinkets from around her home. She would also wear dramatic make up and create over the top hairstyles. So it came as no surprise that she would become a master hairstylist. Sophia went on to continued her education by attending Dudley’s Cosmetology University for Advanced Training, The Paul Mitchell School and The Redken Exchange for advanced training. After being formally trained and licensed in various techniques of hair design, Sophia went on to mastered her skills by working at various salons throughout the tri -state area of New York and New Jersey. Always evolving, Sophia recently stepped into the natural hair realm and began training to become a certified Sisterlocks technician. Today, Sophia has become a true purveyor of beauty and all aspects of beautification and has taken her original techniques and creative hairstyles to Avoni Hair Services. You can contact Sophia at Sophia@AvoniHairServices.com.
